The private dock and swim area were perfect for unwinding.The breakfast spread, with options for vegetarians and vegans, was delightful. The rooms, adorned with rustic decor, opened to nature, providing a cozy retreat. The absence of AC units was unexpected, but the sturdy mosquito nets and powerful fans kept us comfortable.We took advantage of the sailing tour with certified captains and enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters. The mini SPA was a treat after a day of exploring. The magical nature that envelops Casa Lamat truly sets the scene for outdoor adventures.Although I couldn't stay for another night offered by Frank, the manager, due to a flight, his genuine hospitality made my stay memorable. I recommend Casa Lamat to anyone looking to connect with Bacalar's natural wonders and savor a sustainable, comfortable experience. Don't miss the chance to watch the stars from the dock at night - it's truly enchanting.
